With Cacao through the Wheel of the Year

For six yearly cycles we have been accompanying our community with cacao and our rituals through the eight festivals of the wheel of the year. Each one carries its own magic and energy from which we draw strength and experience personal growth. Celebrating the festivals of the wheel of the year helps us to consciously perceive nature, to pause and to feel the qualities of each season within ourselves.

Wheel of the Year Festival Beltane

On March 20, we celebrate Ostara, the Wheel of the Year festival of the spring equinox, marking the beginning of spring and the magical moment when light and darkness are in perfect balance. As the first warm rays of the sun touch the earth and nature awakens to new life, we too may open our hearts and nurture our inner seeds. Immerse yourself in the meaning of this special day in our blog post and discover how you can celebrate the beginning of spring with my loving heart opening ritual.

The magic of the festivals of the wheel of the year

For a long time the ancient festivals of the wheel of the year had lost their significance, among other reasons due to increasing technologization. Yet for some years now, more and more people have been feeling the original need to come into connection with the seasonal qualities of the nature around us and with our own nature. By pausing and celebrating the festivals of the wheel of the year, we strengthen our roots and intuition, nourish our soul and experience strength, clarity and connection.

In our blog we give you an overview of the festivals of the wheel of the year and the sun festivals of the Maya and Inca. You will learn where they originate, why it is so wonderful to perceive the qualities of the wheel of the year and how ritual cacao, as a gift of nature, can accompany you along the way.
