Almost like the Mayas - Interview with the SZ

Mandala Cacaolove.me

A few weeks ago I gave an interview to the Süddeutsche Zeitung about cacao and cacao ceremonies. The editor discovered Cacaoloves.me on the Internet and wrote to us.
The article Almost like the Mayas ➚ is now online.

Active ingredients in cacao recognized

I am very grateful that more and more people are hearing about cacao and are becoming curious. A certain skepticism resonated with the editor. I think that's totally okay. I like it when things are questioned critically. I am all the happier that in this article the active ingredients in cacao are also rightly recognized from a medical point of view.

In the article, Christine Leicht from the Interdisciplinary Center for Dietetics and Nutritional Medicine at the LMU Munich confirms "that the bean contains relevant active ingredients that indirectly affect our mental state. Theobromine, which has a similar effect to caffeine, is found in large quantities. Theobromine is a stimulant, improves mood and stimulates the cardiovascular system."

Cacao and ceremonies arrive in society

In the last 6 years I have been able to talk to many people who have had wonderful experiences with cacao and cacao ceremonies and I hope that many more people can enjoy this. Regardless of whether you are a fan or a skeptic - it is always best to form your own opinion.

For my part, I am convinced that cacao can be of great help to us, especially at the present time, and that cacao rituals can serve us humans to bring stability and security to everyday life.

Cacao fits the desire for self-reflection

In my opinion, the times of "I, I, I" and repression are over and more and more people feel like self-reflection and creating and moving something together. The strengthening and heart-opening effect of cacao can support this.
